In 1994 I adopted an American Pitbull named Sally. She had been used as a bait dog, and she was very mean, with every reason to be. I took her to the local dog training course, and within weeks she became the most loving and caring dog anyone could meet. Friends and family watched that turnaround happen and started asking me to train their dogs. I was not certified yet, so I enrolled in a professional dog training course, then a dog and cat grooming course, and I never stopped: 33 years later, what began with one rescued pitbull is a full pet-care practice serving Huntington Beach, Long Beach, and Costa Mesa.
I am a CPDT-KA certified dog trainer and a certified pet first-aid and CPCR instructor, with credentials that include Canine Good Citizen, STAR Puppy, therapy dog, and service dog training certifications. Over the years I have added formal study in canine massage therapy, pet nutrition, animal care, pet psychology, behavioral modification, and canine communication. The business is licensed, insured, and bonded, and women-owned. Grooming, training, walking, sitting, wellness care, and non-anesthesia dental cleaning all live under one roof, which means one familiar, accountable person cares for your pet at every visit.
Pets do best with people they recognize. When you book with me, I am the one who answers your text, picks up your dog, does the groom or the lesson, and brings them home. No rotating staff, no strangers, no cages. That is why my clients stay for years and why their referrals, rewarded with a free grooming consultation, are how this business has always grown.
