Grooming, training, walking, sitting, dental, and concierge services are booked by appointment. I am a one-person business, so a missed appointment is a significant loss. Please give at least 24 hours notice if you cannot make your scheduled appointment; spaces are limited, and timely notice lets me offer the spot to someone on my waiting list. After a no-show, a deposit may be required to book future appointments. Hours are Monday through Saturday 8am to 5pm and Sunday 1pm to 4pm.
Your pet's comfort and safety come first, and I groom humanely. Removing matts is painful and distressing for pets, so in line with industry standards I attempt de-matting only once, for no more than 15 minutes; if a coat needs more than that, your pet gets a comfortable clip instead. If a pet returns matted on a later visit, I will not attempt de-matting again and will clip right away. I make no de-matting attempts on elderly pets, puppies, or pelted coats; they receive an immediate comfortable clip. Keeping the coat brushed out between professional grooms is the owner's responsibility, and I am always happy to show you how. The regular grooming charge does not include de-matting; any de-matting or pre-clip work carries a surcharge for the extra time, product, and equipment wear. Pricing reflects coat condition, behavior, and time required, and quotes may be adjusted at the appointment after I meet your pet. Non-anesthesia dental cleaning is a maintenance service and is not a substitute for veterinary dental care.
Vaccines should be administered under the guidance of a licensed veterinarian at least 48 hours before your appointment, and written proof is required. Dogs need current DPP (distemper, parvovirus, and parainfluenza) and Rabies vaccines, plus Bordetella within the last 12 months. Cats need current FVRCP and Rabies vaccines. Canine influenza and leptospirosis vaccines are not required but are recommended; ask your veterinarian. All pets must be free of fleas and ticks. I keep records of your pet's general health and condition so every visit is tailored to their needs; please tell me about any medical conditions or health changes between visits. These records are never shared with third parties.
